About
The Fort Ostell Museum Society is a non-profit organization that collects, conserves, researches, and exhibits the unique story of Ponoka’s history, including Indigenous Peoples, Fort Ostell, experiences of the settlers, and the historical care and treatment of mental illness in Alberta.
Â
We strive to deliver personal experiences that provide stimulation, education, enjoyment, and challenges that will increase the individual’s ability to discover, think, feel, and question past, present, and future issues.
Â
We hold to the values of integrity, accountability, sustainability, inclusiveness, responsibility, honesty, and interaction. It is our commitment to hold these values in all we do for the furtherance of connection to the community we serve.
